Director's Biography

Sam Val (born November 28, 1995 in Ca Mau, Vietnam) is a vietnamese filmmaker. At a young age, he firmly made the conscious decision to someday work in the entertainment industry. The idea started to grow and eventually evolved into the love for cinema, as well as the overall entertainment. After an unsuccessful attempt to get into Ho Chi Minh city’s school of Theatre and Cinema following high school, he began to make short films on his own. The short film “Berused” is his third.
