VAALA’s first priority is always the health and safety of our community. In keeping with the social distancing directives from our local, state, and federal health agencies to combat COVID-19, we have suspended all VAALA programming for the next few months.
Unfortunately, there’s no way for anyone to know what the situation will be like in October. Due to that uncertainty and out of an abundance of caution, we’ve decided it’s in the best interest of our community to cancel Viet Film Fest 2020. Viet Film Fest will return in 2021, focusing on healing the communities and reconnecting people through the art of cinema. As a result, we will end our 2020 call for entries and issue refunds for any entrants who submitted this year.
