The Vietnamese American Arts and Letters Association (VAALA) warmly invites you to join us for the annual Launch Event of Viet Film Fest 2025. This free community gathering is set for Sunday, September 14th, from 3 – 5 pm, at The Frida Cinema, 305 E. 4th Street #100, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Get ready for an afternoon filled with cinematic revelations, including the announcement of this year’s official selections and the debut of the eagerly awaited 2025 festival trailer!
And that’s not all! Be among the first to discover the nominees for Best Feature, Best Short, Best Actress, Best Actor, and for the first time ever, Best Cinematography. Celebrating its 16th year, the festival will take place virtually from October 4 to 19, with an exciting three-day in-person event on October 10, 11, and 12 at The Frida Cinema. All films will be presented in English or with English subtitles.
