The day featured an incredible lineup of four feature films, including the boldly titled new feature “Before Sex” and a heartwarming celebratory reunion for the 25th-anniversary screening of “Three Seasons”. Day 3 perfectly captured the beautiful moments that make Viet Film Fest so unique. 🌟🎬 🎉 The day ended with a night to remember! Our Industry Networking Event brought together an amazing crowd for a thought-provoking discussion on Vietnamese Representation in American Filmmaking. A huge thank you to our incredible panelists—Tony Bui, Timothy Linh Bui, Elyse Dinh, and Maegan Houang—for sharing their insights, and to moderator Jenni Trang Le for leading the conversation with such depth and passion. 🌟 Special thanks to our Lead Media Producer, Jonathan Phan , for his creative vision and dedication, and to our talented Media Productions Interns, Richard Nguyen and Brenda Huynh, for their hard work in documenting these unforgettable moments. 🎥👏 And don’t miss VAALA’s next exciting event! The day was packed with incredible panels and engaging Q&A sessions, including thought-provoking discussions on “The Empathizer” and “Taking Root: Southeast Asian Stories of Resettlement in Philadelphia”.
