One of the highlights of the evening was a special appearance by leading actor, Hua Vy Van direct from Saigon.

Set in Vietnam during the 1980s, SAIGON LOVE STORY revolves around Danh (Hua Vy Van), a young man who likes to buy music cassette tapes. One day, he stumbles into a mysterious, beautiful street vendor named Tam (Ngo Thanh Van, who also stars in THE REBEL), selling a cassette entitled, Saigon Love Story. Intrigued by her music, Danh decides to buy the cassette, only to discover later that it is a blank. When Danh confronts Tam, he finds that she is penniless and is unable to repay him. Instead, she serenades Danh a song from her cassette. Enchanted, Danh finds a voice that has long been suppressed and searches for ways to deal with his discovery.
