The Vietnamese International Film Festival (ViFF) is proud to collaborate with the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) to co-present films by diasporic Vietnamese filmmakers in the 25th Annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF), which will run from March 15-25 in 3 Bay Area cities: San Francisco, Berkeley and San Jose. Official Selections Delayed til early March 2007
Due to an overwhelming response from the local, national and international filmmaking community, the Screening Committee and the Executive Committee will notify the filmmakers of their films' status early March instead of February. ViFF will hold two press conferences to announce the official selections.
The first press conference will take place on Wednesday March 7th from 3:00pm - 4:30pm at Nguoi Viet Community Room, 14772 Moran Street, Westminster, CA 92683. The second press conference will be the following day, Thursday March 8th from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at Visual Communications, 120 Judge John Aiso Street (Basement Level), Los Angeles, California 90012.

Official Selections Will Be Announced in February 2007
Thank you filmmakers, for submitting your film(s) to ViFF 2007! Festival submissions postmark deadline is December 1, 2006. All submissions must also include a completed filled out application included.(Download app here) Once all the films are screened, selected films will be programmed into an 8-day festival from April 12 - 15 & 19 - 22, 2007.
Thus far we have received over 70 submissions from many different countries around the world including Canada, Israel, France, Germany, Vietnam, and the U.S. Stay tuned for the official selections which will be announced in February 2007 on the ViFF website.

SAIGON LOVE STORY, a feature film directed by Ringo Le, had a sold-out premier screening in the 2850-seat San Jose Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, November 25, 2006. The Viet Tribune called the screening "a phenomenal artistic event."Read more...
