The Vietnamese American Arts and Letters Association (VAALA) is excited to invite the public to a star-studded party to officially launch Viet Film Fest 2019. This free event will take place on September 8th, from 3 – 5pm, at Viet Film Fest’s venue, AMC Orange 30, located at The Outlets at Orange. The evening will include the announcement of the Viet Film Fest’s three-day lineup, which includes films from all around the world. There will also be live performances and the debut of the highly anticipated 2019 official festival trailer. The nominations for Best Feature, Best Short, Best Actress, and Best Actor will also be revealed at the event.
Additionally, live entertainment will feature singers, Kim Thanh, Mê Linh, and Cao Minh Hùng, as well as ballroom dancers, Chipaul and Millie Cao. The event will be hosted by Thanh Tam. This is a red carpet event in which selected filmmakers will be in attendance. On this day, official posters and tickets for the film festival will also be available for purchase at the event and online. Audience members may purchase early-bird, All-Access Badges at a discounted price, and festival tickets at the launch party.
This year marks the 11th edition of Viet Film Fest. The actual film festival will run from October 11-13, 2019 at AMC Orange 30. Please visit www.vietfilmfest.com for more information.
