Liem was born and raised in South Vietnam; however, for the past 25 years, he has been living in Hawai’i and struggling with an unspecified illness for over 20 years. Although he cares for his family and others, his life-long goal is to have a family of his own. In his attempt to find happiness, his patience is tested as he experiences loneliness and longing.
