DIRECTOR: My Le Thi

My work is a personal account of many encounters and journeys leading to my life in Australia. It conveys a sense of belonging and attachment to a distant and remote sacred land. During trips to the Central Highlands in 2002 and 2007, I recorded the unique Tay Nguyen music which was traditionally used to communicate with the land and spirits as a means of expressing sadness and to celebrate life.
