Luu Huynh

Luu Huynh studied Commercial Art at the University of Minnesota. He then relocated to Los Angles where he attended the Art Center College of Design and Filmmaking in Pasadena, California. Since 1991, Luu has worked extensively with the most renowned Vietnamese music video production and distribution company in Los Angeles, Thuy Nga’s Paris By Night. With more than fifty music videos under his belt, Lou has directed music videos for the biggest names in the overseas Vietnamese entertainment industry. His other films include two feature films called The Summer Rain (1985) and Michael and I (1994). He has also written Chocolate, Cowboy and Dollar (1996) and Cannon Lullaby (1999). In 2003, his film, Passage ofLife, won the Audience Choice Award at the Vietnamese International Film Festival. Luu is currently in development on his third feature film entitled, Love Kills, which he also wrote and will direct. Love Kills is expected to go into principal photography in late 2007.
