Người Rơm is the nickname of Vietnamese illegal immigrants living in
the UK. The filmmaker Le Hai spends time with them trying to
answer the question: Who are they? and how do they live? Using an anthropological approach, he records all the moments of their socialization in everyday life. The extracted scenes are strung together to form a narrative and a life story.
